Shilan Zade
MP Nominee for Conservative Party of Canada

My name is Shilan Zade. I came to Canada over twenty years ago from a small city in the Middle East. My journey, shaped by resilience and hope, is one that many of you can relate to. Growing up amidst the conflict between Iran and Iraq, I carried my parents' aspirations for a better life in Canada—a promise I've worked tirelessly to fulfill.

Burnaby was my first home when I arrived, and it remains at the heart of my story. Here, I built a family, overcame challenges, and deepened my commitment to this community. Guided by the values of faith, family, and fortitude, I have dedicated myself to advocating for the needs of others.

My experiences managing budgets for non-profit organizations and advocating for women's rights have fueled my passion for community service and public leadership. These roles, along with my personal journey, have given me the perspective, skills, and determination to serve as a strong voice for Burnaby North-Seymour.

As a Conservative Party nomination candidate, I am committed to building a brighter future for our community. I bring real-life experience, professional expertise, and a relentless dedication to addressing our challenges. I look forward to earning your trust and support as we work together to make Burnaby North-Seymour a thriving, prosperous, and safer community for future generations.
British Columbia is at a crossroads, facing challenges that threaten the core of our cherished values. We must prevent government overreach and preserve the principles that define our nation's resilience. In Burnaby North-Seymour, we're confronting significant obstacles that demand our attention.

Radical NDP-Liberal experiments with hard drugs policy have made it so many of our loved ones have fallen victim to addiction, businesses closing, and families struggling financially. The increasing cost of living crisis brought on by irresponsible NDP-Liberal overspending threatens our livelihoods and future generations.

With your support, I aim to prioritize building a safer community, ending the carbon tax, getting more homes built, creating good-paying middle-class private sector jobs, supporting small businesses, and stopping the radical, brutal drug experiments of the NDP-Liberals.
I refuse to stand idly by in the face of daunting challenges. Enough is enough. It's time to roll up our sleeves, make change, and provide a better future for our children, security for our families, and hope for our community. I'm not just a candidate; I'm a neighbour ready to get to work to earn every vote for a future conservative majority government led by Prime Minister Pierre Poilievre.

Together, we can forge a path that restores safety, supports small businesses, and ensures every family can thrive. These aren't just issues; they are the bedrock upon which we will build a stronger, more resilient community. Help me be your voice. Let's overcome obstacles and champion leadership that cherishes and protects our nation's bedrock values. We can navigate these challenges with unity and determination and secure a future for Burnaby North-Seymour.
